Commissioned by Grandmaster Antonio Manoel De Vilhena in 1731, and opened in 1732, Teatru Manoel is one of the world’s oldest Baroque theatres that is still in full operation. Delve behind the scenes and explore its hidden corners, from bustling workshops and costume houses to the enchanting, off-limits spaces beneath the stage. Along the way, discover captivating stories, whispered ghostly tales, and secrets of the theatre’s storied past.

Licensed guide and professional actor Jeremy Grech (who can also take on the character of Monsieur Baroque for the tour) will give detailed information which cannot be found in history books, as Jeremy has personally researched the Teatru Manoel archives, to gather extensive knowledge of the theatre’s history.

This exclusive experience will take you to the behind-the-scenes areas that are generally off-limits to the public, and finish off with some refreshments (Prosecco or tea).
